How to Fix a BES870XL Leaking Water Tank | Step-by-Step Guide

A leaking water tank on the Breville BES870XL is one of those failures that begins as a minor inconvenience a small puddle on the counter and can escalate into genuine machine damage if the source is not correctly identified and addressed. Water that escapes the tank circuit and reaches electrical components, the control board, or the base of the machine creates risks well beyond the inconvenience of wet countertops.
